“AMY'S” STORY ON NATIONAL TELEVISION --
AWARDING RESTITUTION TO A VICTIM OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

On Wednesday, April 2, 2014, NBC’s Law & Order: SVU essentially told our client "Amy's" story on national television -- the rape and filming of a prepubescent girl and subsequent internet proliferation of the images of her child sex abuse. The episode explores the devastating impact of sex abuse and dissemination of images of the abuse on the victim, the critical role of law enforcement, and the importance of full restitution to the victim. You can watch the full Law & Order SVU episode, "Downloaded Child", here free online (for a limited time). You can view highlights of the episode's restitution issue here.
